BOOM!
Boom the milk exploded into a star.
Yesterday our writing group went to the staff room again.
First we put milk on a plate. Then we poured in four different food colourings, red at the top, blue at the bottom, green on one side and yellow at the other. After that we squirted dish liquid in the middle. When we put the liquid in, it exploded. We got given a cotton bud. Finally we stirred it.
We stirred and made patterns. I saw a big star, then I made a koru and then Mrs.A tipped it all out. It was awesome and cool. It was freaky to everyone in the group and it was fun to me.
Awesome stars. We thought it looked like the earth and stars. Can you make a print from it by putting a piece of paper over it ?
Yes you can if you use shaving foam instead of milk 🙂 bit messy though…..
