My husband, daughter and I relocated up here to the beautiful sunny north from Auckland in 2018.

I have a long background in tertiary education along with early childhood so joining the Mangonui School board has filled in some gaps in my understanding of the education system.

There are so many things I love about Mangonui School but my favourite thing has to be the holistic approach to teaching both inside and outside the classroom and how it empowers our tamariki to be kaitiaki of themselves and papatuanuku. This is what I believe enables us to create ‘ Leaders of Tomorrow’.
