My name is Lily, I’m the teacher in the year 3 / 4 class ‘Taniwha’. My classroom endeavours to be student centred, focussing on creating critical thinkers and inquirers who are active learners.

I’m passionate about facilitating learning around the natural world, science, wellbeing and always enjoy doing something creative such as art or writing.

Before becoming a teacher I studied a Bachelor of Science, with a focus on Marine Sciences and explored the ocean working as a Divemaster.

Outside of school I enjoy diving, fishing, reading and spending time with whānau.

My classroom door is always open to visitors, so please feel free to come in for a kōrero.
